Phear Creative logo exploration

We had a friendly inner-agency-logo-competition for company Phear Creative. One (top row, middle) of my many options shown below won! I received a free bottle of Root and a giftcard for Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. Very exciting.

Design Philadelphia's The Welcome House

One of the few projects I have worked on where there were absolutely NO revisions to the creative– it is a truly gratifying experience when this happens. The Welcome House is an art installation in Philadelphia's Love Park, part of Design Philadelphia, which opens October 4th and runs for 10 days. Each day, a different artist occupies a 10' by 10' box in the park, interacting with and entertaining watchers. I came up with the concept and designed the collateral promoting this event:

^ Invitation (which folds into a box - like the art space itself! Inside of box there are pictures of Love Park)

Midtown Village's Fourth Fall Festival - October 3rd

If you're in Philadelphia next week, be sure to check out Midtown Village's Fourth Fall Festival– and keep an eye out for my posters+fliers+ads around town! The event should be a lot of fun. There will be delicious food from local restaurants, shops will be having special sales, Oktoberfest celebrations and even SUMO WRESTLING!

Nelson-Plachter Design

It's always fun to create work for clients with a quality product. Nelson-Plachter Design is a local Philly interior design company, with a great sense of spaces. I designed a new logo, business card/envelope/letterhead, and website for pair of designers.

New Project: Nelson-Plachter Identity

I just started working on rebranding a local interior design company. Most of these ideas stem from playing with the illusion of 3-dimensions on a 2-D surface. Some are more about the interaction of the N and the P, representative of each woman in the Nelson Plachter duo. Logos can be so much fun.

Midtown Village Wednesdays

As a relief to the current economic crisis, Philly neighborhood Midtown Village will be offering discounts at many of its locally-owned shops and restaurants on Wednesdays, as well as staying open an hour later. I made some posters and tote bags to promote this effort.
